Startell Marketing’s motivation for creating an online rental listing site was inspired by the desire to make looking for a rental a pleasant experience. After hearing from tenants and vacationers that have had to drive around town looking for rental signs or sift through newspapers and classified sites for basic property details, Startell decided to establish a format that would save time and money for both the renter and the property owner. RentalDoctor.com allows owners to develop a property profile listing the features of the rental. The profile allows for photos, map functions, e-mail and site links as well as flyer and poster options. With more detail to review, the tenant is able to make an educated evaluation of the property prior to contacting the owner or making a trip to view the unit. The system saves significant amounts of time and expense for both sides.
